Air India management has filed a Contempt of Court petition against Air India pilots who have been active in the strike and not reporting to the duties despite court directing them to resume duties. In the petition, Air India management mentioned that the pilots have rejected the proposals made by Air India. The petition has been filed with Delhi High Court.

Air India management has also stated that they have so far removed as many as 101 pilots from the service. It is known that Air India pilots’ strike entered its 16th day today. It may be recalled that the court earlier ordered the pilots to join the duties and termed strike as against the law. But, the pilots kept continuing the strike, which attempted to contempt.
