BJD supremo Naveen Patnaik  met NCP leader and former Loksabha speaker PA Sangma at his residence. It is known that Sangma was in the presidential race and in an exclusive interview to a news channel, Sangma has reiterated that he was still in the race of presidential elections. He has also said that he was not in the race earlier but now he’s keen to become the president. Sangma has also said that his name was suggested by Jayalalitha and  Naveen Patnaik. We have to wait and see who would become the next president of India.

Meanwhile Sangma has also sought the support of political parties. Naveen Patnaik has said that he was in touch with other political parties to bring all political parties on one platform to support  Sangma.  (Phani)
