The TCS training centre at Ambattur in Chennai received a bomb threat this morning and the management had immediately evacuated its more than 1000 employees keeping in mind their safety.
The TCS training centre at Ambattur is spread over six floors in a 16-storey complex. Another office in the complex received a phone call from a unanimous person saying a bomb has been placed in the complex.
A TCS spokesperson said that they have asked their employees to leave the complex for the day in view of the bomb threat. “Since this is a training center, it will not have any impact on our business operations,” said the spokesperson.
Police have taken over the complex and a thorough check has been going on to find out if there was really a bomb in the complex or the call was a hoax. (JUBS)
