Roping in dupes and lookalikes for fighting or intimate scenes in movies is a common phenomenon, whether in Hollywood or Bollywood. However, it is entirely different when it comes to using the dupes in television commercials.

Duplication in entertainment is bound to generate comedy and laughter but duplication for commercial exploitation is something no celebrity would tolerate as happened in case of American socialite, television personality, model, and actress Kim Kardashian.

Kardashian filed a lawsuit for damages against the cloth manufacturer Old Navy for using her lookalike and model Melissa Molinaro in a television commercial. Of course, the commercial alone couldn’t have caused the actress to approach legal authorities.

There is something else that must have hurt the starlet’s pride. Melissa Molinaro is now reportedly dating Reggie Bush, NFL star and the ex-boy friend of Kardashian. But, Molinaro was not named in the suit intended mainly against the cloth company.
