Popular realty star of US, Kim Kardashian has been robbed at gunpoint at a Paris hotel by assailants disguised as police who robbed millions, mainly in jewelry on Sunday, according to French authorities and her representatives.

According to the Paris Police, the loss amounted to several million euros, mostly jewelry and added that they were still assessing the total amount stolen and had opened an investigation.

Kim’s representative said that she was ‘badly shaken but physically unharmed’ after the assault, which occurred late on Sunday. The spokesperson further added that two armed masked dressed as police officers entered Kardashian’s hotel room and held her up at the gunpoint.

The representative gave no further details about the incident.

Kardashian is one of the most prominent identifiable US celebrities who appear in Paris Fashion Week. On hearing the news, Kardashian’s husband, rapper Kanye West, abruptly ended a festival appearance in New York citing a ‘family emergency’.
