Superstar Rajanikanth, who was recuperating at an undisclosed location in Singapore after being discharged from the Mount Elizabeth Hospital, thanked his fans for offering prayers for his speedy recovery.

In a hand written letter addressed to his fans and released to the media in Chennai today, Rajani assured them that he would come back soon to Chennai to play his role in the much talked about period film ‘Rana’.

In his inimitable style, Rajani said that he played a game recently in which the latest medical technology and the world’s top medical specialists stood on one side and his fans and prayers stood on the other. “It is ultimately the fans and their prayers that won the game,” he said.

“You have shown to the world how many people are fond of Rajani and if I have recovered, it is just because of your abundant love and affection showered on me by all of you,” he said in his letter and thanked them for praying for his recovery treating him as their brother, friend and family member.

He promised them that he would never forget their love and affection saying he was running out of words for expressing his gratitude for them.
