Superstar Rajanikanth, who was admitted to the intensive care unit of St Isabel hospital in Chennai Friday morning after he vomited and complained of uneasiness, was discharged late in the evening of Friday from the hospital.
Superstar’s wife Latha Rajnikanth said Rajani was doing fine and no one should worry about his health.
Reports on Friday said that Rajani was admitted to hospital because of BP problems soon after the shooting for his period film ‘Rana’ began at the AVM Studios amidst many expectations.
She said her husband ate something in the morning but he vomited as he could not digest that food.
“The actor had some mild stomach infection and he was treated for the same but he is now fit and fine,” said Dr C V Krishnaswamy, who attended on Rajini in the hospital allaying the fears of his fans.
