Rajani paid Rs.24 Cr for Rana, to get more Superstar Rajinikanth, who was undergoing treatment at the Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre in Singapore, one of the best hospitals in Asia, was reportedly paid a whopping Rs. 24 Cr as the first installment of his remuneration for signing the film ‘Rana’, according to industry circles in Chennai.  
 
Sources said Rajani will be paid more installments for acting in the movie and his family will have a stake in the revenue to be generated by the movie since his second daughter Soundarya is also a partner in the venture.
 
A top Kollywood personality said that the superstar continues to be the country’s highest paid actor and no other hero is even nearer to him. Rajani’s son-in-law Dhanush said on Wednesday that the superstar will return to India in a week or so and will successfully complete the shooting of the film ‘Rana’.
 
The entire south cine industry is now praying for his speedy recovery and Rajani’s fans are conducing special pujas across Tamil Nadu and else where wishing him speedy recovery.
