Record theatrical business for Rajinikanth's Jailer:- Superstar Rajinikanth is all set to test his luck with Jailer, an action thriller that is directed by Nelson. There were no expectations on the film and it was the trailer that changed the film's expectations. Jailer is releasing on August 10th and the makers are left in huge profits before the release. Both the theatrical and the non-theatrical rights of Jailer fetched record deals. The worldwide theatrical rights of Jailer are slod for Rs 122.50 crores.
Suresh Babu and Asian Suniel are releasing the film in AP and Telangana. The overseas rights alone fetched Rs 30 crores which is a record. The advance bookings for Jailer are exceptional all over. Ramya Krishna, Tamannaah, Sunil, Mohanlal, Jacke Shroff will be seen in other important roles. Anirudh's music album is already a chartbuster. Sun Pictures bankrolled this big-budget film.
