SexyLipsMake your own lip exfoliant:

Mix a little sugar with a little olive oil, and rub into your lips. Wipe or lick off and your lips will be smooth and moisturized.

Eat a good diet. Fruits and veggies will make your hair, lips, and skin shinier and healthier.
 
Don't lick your lips. Saliva actually will dry out your lips.
 
Mash some papaya into a paste, and apply it to your lips and around the lips for 10-15 minutes. The enzymes in papaya will exfoliate and soften your lips.
 
Make your own lip balm. There are plenty of recipes for lip balm and lip gloss, and you'll know there are no harsh chemicals in it if you make it.

Give your lips a tea bag moisture treatment

Boil a tea bag, then let it cool down so it's just warm. Press it on your lips and it will moisten them.
 
If you've got sunburned lips, apply aloe vera gel to them.
 
Drink Water - most people don't drink enough, and it will hydrate your skin and lips.
 
Don't wear so much makeup!
 
Many lipsticks contain chemicals that will dry out or irritate your skin. Quit using them and go more natural. Cheap lipstick is especially damaging, so spend the extra on the good stuff.
 
Use Lipbalm regularly. Keep it in your purse for easy access.
 
Apply vaseline. It will sooth and keep your lips from drying out. You can also use butter.
 
Apply lipbalm nightly. Keep it by your bed and do it before you go to sleep.
