The first motion poster of ‘Udta Punjab’, one of the most anticipated movies of the year, has been revealed this morning.
The movie’s lead, Shahid Kapoor took to his twitter, to announce about the poster. He said that, the movie’s official trailer would be out on 16th of April.
Kareena Kapoor, Alia Bhatt in the female leads, Abhishek Chaubey’s directorial also has Punjabi singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh.
Reacting to her role in Udta Punjab, Kareena Kapoor said that, it would be on the lines of Samaritan.
“I play a doctor in the film. It’s (the role) very simple and nice, good Samaritan kind of a thing. But the whole atmosphere of the film is so nice and dark that the role is very different,” said Kareena.
Shahid Kapoor, who has often experimented with his looks in most of his films, has now grown his hair to shoulder length for this neo-noir film. Sharing a picture of him on Instagram, he flaunts his perfectly toned abs in the selfie.
Not stopping there, Shahid further teased with the picture writing on it, “Coming Soon”. This is now being taken as a hint by his fans, who are treating it, as his look from ‘Udta Punjab’ movie.
Udta Punjab is based on the substance abuse in Punjab. It has been co-produced by Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Motion Pictures.
