Legendary filmmaker Dasari Narayana Rao has been named for the Shoban Babu's 'Swarna Kankanam (Golden Bracelet) award' which will be awarded on the birth anniversary of Shoban Babu. Dasari will be honoured with this award on January 10th by Telangana Seva Samithi and Shrutilaya Arts Academy jointly at Ravindra Bharati.

Upon hearing the news, Dasari is delighted to received the award. "It is the most prestigious award and I thank people who have nominated my name. Shoban Babu is one of the versatile actors, Tollywood witnessed. He is also offscreen hero and a good human being," said Dasari. Along with the filmmakers, comedian Shiva Reddy has been nominated for Sobhan Babu memorial
