Kapu leader Mudragada Padbhanabham along with Chiranjeevi, Pallam Raju, YCP leader Bocca Satyanarayana, Ambati Rambabu and other leaders met at Dasari Naryana Rao’s house on Tuesday. Dasari held a review meeting at his house regarding the Kapu issue. Andhra Pradesh Government has already given an assurance that Kapu’s will get their rights by the end of August. The commission set up by government to handle the reservation issue. After Kapu’s announced that they will hold agitation on September 12 to get justice, Dasari Narayana Rao held a lunch meeting at his residence.
On this Ambati Rambabu said “today at Dasari Naryana Rao Residence, all the Kapu leaders came together for a lunch meeting. The main reason why this meeting was held was that after Kapu leader Mudragada Padbhanabham held a hunger strike at Kirlampudi, he visited Hyderabad for the first time. On this occasion, Mr. Rao organized a lunch party and invited all Kapu leaders. All IAS, IPS officers and leaders also attended this lunch party. It is commendable how Mr. Padbhanabham did fasting for 14 days to get justice to his community.”
He also accused Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu saying that “he did many gimmicks to stop Mr. Padbhanabham from doing fast, but still he fought. CM also promised Mudragada Padbhanabham that Kapu community will be added as BC by August 8. We all are with Mudragada to get justice. We also want everyone to know that Mudragada Padbhanabham is not alone. Everyone from Kapu community is with him. If all the promises given by the government are not fulfilled, agitations will take place and we will make sure we get our rights. After discussing with all the leaders, Mr. Padbhanabham will reveal about his programs. When he was hospitalized, the support which everyone gave and all the review meeting which were held, we are thankful to everyone.”
He also added that “there is no war between Mudragada and TDP. We are fighting because the manifesto which was released by TDP in which they mention that Kapu will be considered as BC but the promise was fulfilled. There are rumors of Mudragada talking against TDP but everyone knows what the truth is. It is also Chandrababu Naidu’s plan of creating rumors. We are not begging. We are just asking did you give us the promise. What will happen if you don’t fulfill your promise? If the promise given by the CM is not fulfilled then we know what to do. In today’s meeting we have decided that all the parties should work together to get justice to Kapu community. All the details of the programe will be revealed by Mudragada Padbhanabham on or after September 12.”
When asked if Pawan Kalyan would join in the agitation he said “Whether Pawan kalian will join us or not you have to ask him.”
