Super star Rajanikanth, who is being treated in the ICU of the St Isabel’s Hospital in Chennai for allergic bronchitis, is responding well to the treatment.

 

This was revealed by Rajanikanth’s daughter Soundarya Rajanikanth to scores of media persons who have gathered outside the hospital this morning to report on his health. Hundreds of Rajanikanth fans also gathered outside the hospital early in the morning.

 

“Papa has suffered from allergic bronchitis but is now stable and responding well to the treatment. Doctors advised him complete rest for several days,” Soundarya said. Rajanikanth’s son-in-law Dhanush, who was also present, said that the super star will attend shooting of ‘Rana’ only when the doctors permit him.

 

Rajani was admitted to the hospital Wednesday evening after he complained of breathlessness and fever.

 

This is second time in the last one week that Rajani was admitted to the hospital. On April 29, he was admitted to the hospital after he had complained of uneasiness. He was discharged on the same day and was advised complete rest for a week.
