Super star Rajanikanth was first admitted to a Chennai hospital on April 29, 2011 and was discharged from the hospital the same evening. But, he was again admitted to the hospital on May 4 and was discharged after a week. For the third time, he was again taken to the hospital last Saturday and reports said doctors performed dialysis to his kidneys in the last two days. At the moment, his condition is stated to be serious.

Rajanikanth birth chart shows he was born in Leo ascendant (Simha Lagna) with his Lagna lord Sun being placed in fourth house, 2nd and 11th lord and planet of value Mercury in 5th house, 3rd and 10th lord Venus in conjunction with Mercury in the 5th house, 4th and 9th lord and benefic par excellence and also a Badhaka planet Mars in exaltation in the 6th house in conjunction with 12th lord Moon, 5th and 8th lord Jupiter in 7th house in  Maraka sthana, 6th and 7th lord Saturn, also a Maraka planet in 2nd house in Virgo, a low-intensity Maraka sthana and finally 12th lord Moon being placed in the  6th house in conjunction with exalted Yoga karaka planet Mars.

Rajani, whose original name is Shiavaji Rao Gaikwad, is presently passing though a Saturn-Moon period till June 10, 2011. His sub-sub period of Venus, which started on March 5, 2011, will end on June 10, 2011.

This means he was first admitted to the hospital in Saturn-Moon-Venus period out of which Saturn plays the role of a killer planet i.e. Maraka. Moon assumes the role of Badhaka planet as it is associated with Yogakaraka and Badhaka planet Mars in the 6th house which signifies disease.

When he was first admitted to the hospital on April 29, Rajani was running through the fourth stage period of Jupiter who showers his blessings to the native by being placed in the Kendra in the seventh house from Lagna.

The natal chart of Rajani shows all the planets in excellent strength except for the Jupiter which controls his longevity as his 8th lord. Unfortunately, Jupiter’s strength is lesser by nearly 8.5 per cent in his chart and Jupiter’s Kasta Phala is also very high with 40.79 compared to his Ista Phala which is rated 16.98.

It is therefore no surprise that he was first admitted to the hospital on April 29, which was a Thursday standing for Jupiter.

Will he survive the ordeal?

The question is: Will he survive the ordeal? Yes, he will survive. The reasons are clear. Planet of divinity Jupiter is blessing his Lagna from the Maraka place. Benefic par excellence Mars, which is exalted, is also aspecting the Lagna through his 8th aspect and blessing the native.

Next, the sub period is that of Moon, the lord of 12th house. Moon will not give death as it is not a killer planet here but remains only Badhaka planet since it is associated with Mars, a direct Badhaka planet.

So, the present health problem of Rajani only indicates suffering and not death. Since he was first admitted to the hospital on April 29 during the sub-sub period of Venus, an enemy planet to the Leo ascendants, the suffering will continue till June 10, 2011 when the Venus influence ends.

Rajani will improve further from July 10, 2011 when the sub period of Moon ends thus taking away the 12th house troubles and suffering. After this, Rajani will enter the sub period of Mars which will again put him on the limelight since it is a planet of Yoga Karaka.
