Third ODI: India Beat Australia By 13 Runs:- After starting off the series with Australia with two back to back defeats and losing the one-day series, Team India registered their first victory in their third and final ODI today. Team India won the toss and elected to bat first. India managed to get a respectable score of 302 runs for the loss of five wickets in their 50 overs. Hardik Pandya (92 not out) has been exceptional with the bat and he received the right partner in the form of Ravindra Jadeja (66 not out). Virat Kohli (63) paved the path for a decent score.
Ashton Agar (2/44) and Adam Zampa (1/45) managed to get the best numbers among the Australian bowlers. Chasing a target of 303, Australia sounded good and started off on a decent note. But they lost quick wickets in the middle order after which Australia tumbled down for 289 in 49.3 overs. Aaron Finch (75), Glenn Maxwell (59) and Alex Carey (38) are the top scorers for the side. Shardul Thakur (3/51), Jasprit Bumrah (2/43) and T Natarajan (2/70) are decent among the Indian bowlers. Hardik Pandya is named as the Player of the Match while Steve Smith has been named as the Player of the Tournament.
