PIL over Telangana Emblem

A Public Interest Litigation [PIL] has been filed in the Hyderabad High Court over the Telangana Emblem. This PIL was filed lawyer T. Dhanagopal and detailed that the placement of 'Satyameva Jayate' should be below the national emblem - the Lion Capital. Whereas in Telangana emblem, both are kept separetely which is against the norms of Indian Laws. The lawyer requested the Court to direct the Telangana government to make necessary changes in the emblem. The Telangana emblem has a decorated Kakatiya arch in the circular emblem in green colour with the Charminar image at the centre. Government of Telangana in English, Telangana Sarkar in Urdu and Telangana Prabhutuvam in Telugu is written in the circular logo.
