Centre Blames AP For Not Using Funds For High Court:- The Supreme Court sought the response from the governments of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana about the allocation of the new High Court. A new High Court plan has been set up and is discussion from some time. The Centre blamed Andhra Pradesh Government for not using the funds of Rs 500 crores that have been released on March 31st for the construction of new High Court in the new state. Centre revealed that Rs 500 crores have been released for the construction of Raj Bhavan, Secretariat and Assembly along with the High Court in Andhra Pradesh.
Attorney General KK Venugopal reminded that Hyderabad is the common capital for ten years and Hyderabad High Court has enough number of court halls to operate for both AP and Telangana. However the Centre reminded about the Reorganization Act of 2014 saying that there was no bar that is pending for the construction of a building in Andhra Pradesh. Mr Mukul Rohatgi, senior advocate from Telangana revealed that the people of Telangana have been suffering because of the delay made by Andhra Pradesh.
