More Rainfall likely in Andhra Pradesh:- Telugu states are showering with excessive rain and coming two days the rain fall going to continue in six districts of Andhra Pradesh. Eluru, West, Godavari, Krishna, NTR , Guntur and Palnadu are in high alert. Andhra Pradesh state government was asked to take necessary precautions in these six districts by IMD.
Bapatla, prakasam and Aluri Sitaramaraju districts are on red alert and likely to see extreme rainfall. The wind is also expected to be gusting upto 30 to 40kmph. There is a cyclonic depression on the south Odisha coasts, cyclonic circulation is upto 7.6km. In Vijayawada Durga temple authorities has closed the darshan to the devotees due to the severe rain fall. Vizag collector also gave directions to the oficials to be available and follow the public.
Godavari water level is rising day by day. It has reached 10.80 ft of inflow and 8.53 lakh cusecs of water outflow. As per records this would be the heavy on heavy rainfall recorded in the state. On flip side Telangana state government has declared holiday to the schools because of the heavy rainfall in the state. Even west Karnataka is seeing severe rainfall.
