Telangana announces closure of theatres:- The coronavirus spread is huge all over and the second wave of coronavirus is haunting the nation. There are talks that the country would head for a lockdown but the Prime Minister Narendra Modi hinted that there would be no second lockdown in the country and he urged the people to be cautious and careful. He also asked the states to take their individual calls on the lockdown or night curfew. The government of Andhra Pradesh announced 50 percent occupancy in the state but there are no traces of night curfew or lockdown in Andhra Pradesh. A total number of 8987 new infections are reported in the country in the last 24 hours in the state.

The Telangana government imposed night curfew which will be implemented from 9 PM to 5 AM every day till May 1st. With the evening show and night shows impossible, the Telangana exhibitors association met to discuss about the steps to be taken. A decision has been taken to close the theatres across Telangana from tomorrow. The theatres would reopen again once the normalcy returns. Telangana too reported huge rise in the new number of cases. There is huge scarcity for beds. Vakeel Saab is the only film that is running across the Telugu states. All the upcoming releases are postponed in Telugu states for now. The shoots of several Telugu movies are kept on hold for now and they would resume after the number of cases come down.
