Farmers Protest Completes 100 Days

Farmers Protest completes 100 Days:- The farmers across the country have been indefinitely protesting against the newly introduced three farm laws by the Centre. Thousands of farmers from Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh staged protests at the borders of the national capital New Delhi. They also made it clear that they would not compromise and will continue the protests until the farm laws would be shelved. The agitation of the farmers completed 100 days by today. The farmers are in plans to intensify their protests and they are in plans to block all the major expressways that are leading to the national capital tomorrow.

The six-lane of Western Peripheral Expressway which is called Kundli–Manesar–Palwal (KMP) Expressway will be blocked for five hours tomorrow from 11 AM to 4 PM. Farmers Union Samyukta Kisan Morcha (SKM) announced this and this will be done along with Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU). The farmers said that they would mount moral pressure on the government. Some of the farmers said that new farmer laws are like death warrants to them. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi defended the farm laws saying that the laws would benefit the farmers and he slammed the opposition parties for diverting the farmers.
