Indian Farmers Protest receives global support:- The Indian farmers have been protesting against the introduced farm laws by the Centre. The protests completed two months and several sets of discussions took place between the Farmer Unions and the Cente. The talks went unsuccessful and the farmers intensified their protests. The recent tractor rally made ways for several anti-social elements and several unexpected incidents got registered. International pop star Rihanna was the first international celebrity to respond to the farmers' protest. Climate campaigner Greta Thunberg and several lawmakers from the USA, UK responded about the farmers' protest in India.

Multiple barricades and fences are placed at the outskirts of Delhi to take things under control. "why aren’t we talking about this?! #FarmersProtest" posted Rihanna. "Solidarity to the Indian Farmers. Thank you Rihanna. In an era where political leadership is lacking, we are grateful for others stepping forward" posted Clauda Webbe, an MP from the United Kingdom. Soon several celebrities took their social media handles to respond about the Indian farmers protest. Teenage climate activist Greta Thunberg extended her support saying "We stand in solidarity with the #FarmersProtest in India".

The protests started on November 26th and thousands are protesting at the borders of New Delhi. The newly introduced farm laws are Farmers' Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Act, 2020; the Farmers Empowerment and Protection) Agreement on Price Assurance and farm Services Act 2020 and the Essential Commodities (Amendment) Act, 2020.
