GHMC Polls: 30,000 Cops Deployed For Smooth Polls:- The Telangana government is in plans to impose strict rules for the smooth functioning of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Polls that will take place on December 1st. Telangana Chief Minister KCR held a meeting with the officials and the party leaders. He asked all the ministers, legislators to be available in their respective divisions. KCR himself will campaign in the GHMC polls while KTR will tour across all the divisions rigorously. Around 30,000 cops are deployed across all the divisions to ensure a smooth functioning of the polls. All the cops from Hyderabad, Cyberabad and Rachakonda Commissionerates will be working for the polls.

All the additional forces from TSSP, other wings and the Armed Reserve will be supervising the security. Around 257 polling stations from 73 locations are called critical and 1004 polling stations from 308 locations are called hypersensitive. The code of conduct is enforced and the security forces are asked to take the charge in the limits of GHMC. Additional forces will take charge at the polling booths, counting centers and near the strong rooms soon. Special check-posts are planned along with police pickets across the limits. The patrolling across the limits of GHMC is increased from today and the Hyderabad cops kept a close surveillance across the city till the first week of December.
