Vijay Mallya's Last Effort To Avoid Jail:- Liquor baron Vijay Mallya who fled from the country received a shock from the UK court. Since then, Vijay Mallya took a U-Turn and he has been requesting the government of India that he would pay back all the dues. Vijay Mallya's counsel told the Supreme Court that he offered a comprehensive settlement package to the Indian banks for which he owes Rs 9000 crores. After all the options for Vijay Mallya are expired, Vijay Mallya offered a settlement package once again. Vijay Mallya is said to have offered Rs 13,690 crores as the last settlement package for the banks.

The default amount to be paid is said to be Rs 9000 crores. The Solicitor General Tushar Mehta said that this is not the first time Vijay Mallya has been offering the settlement amounts. There are multiple legal issues that are to be sorted out before bringing Vijay Mallya back to the country. But the liquor baron and businessman clearly knows that he would be extradited soon to the country. Vijay Mallya lost his appeal last month. Vijay Mallya's extradition cannot take place until all the legal issues are resolved. Rs 13,960 crores is the highest offer from Vijay Mallya. Some of his properties in the country are seized and some of them are auctioned already.
