Nipah Virus Terror Back in Kerala:- South Indian state Kerala shivered with the deadly Nipah virus and the state government worked hard to prevent its spread all over and saved several lives. The serum samples of a 23-year-old youngster in Kerala's Ernakulam district was sent to National Institute of Virology, Pune which was traced positive in Kerala. The Health Minister KK Shailaja confirmed the news and she addressed a press conference in Kochi today asking the people not to panic. The minister assured that the government took all the precautionary steps to prevent the spread of nipah virus in the state.

The student is being monitored by a team of four which included two nurses. The Health Minister advised everyone who feels fever-like-symptoms to get diagnosed immediately and she confirmed that the youngster's health is stable and is now on life support system. Protective suits are being handed over to the health care teams. Ambulances and rapid force are kept in touch and are asked to be available round the clock. People with fever and cough are asked not to roam in public and get diagnosed immediately.
