Nipah Virus: Medical Emergency In Kerala:- Nipah Virus created a stir in Kerala and despite of taking all the necessary norms, the death toll has been taking a rise on regular basis. The latest victim for the deadly Nipah Virus is a 39-year-old woman from Thalasseri who has been under care at Kozhikode Medical College. This death created a panic in the state along the government. Kerala Health Minister K K Shailaja called for an emergency meeting that will take place this afternoon.

There are six news cases registered and all those have been admitted in Kozhikode Medical College hospital on Friday. All the courts in the district have been closed and all the people have been alerted. The World Health Organization (WHO) released the data of the lives that Nipah virus claimed. Over 753 people have been under observation and are facing such symptoms. The Centre extended its support to the state by sending teams from Indian Council of Medical Research, National Centre for Disease Control, All India Institute of Medical Sciences doctors.
