Narendra Modi Files his Nomination from Varanasi:- Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is pretty confident of retaining the power in the country again. He represents Varanasi Lok Sabha constituency and he decided to contest from the same constituency in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls that are scheduled for next month. Narendra Modi filed his nomination today in Varanasi. He was accompanied by BJP Chief Amit Shah, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and BJP leaders Nitish Kumar, Ram Vilas Paswan, Parkash Singh Badal and Uddhav Thackeray.

Earlier before filing his nomination, Narendra Modi took the blessings of senior leader and SAD politician Prakash Singh Badal. He visited the famous Kala Bhairava temple in Varanasi after which he submitted his nomination papers in District Collectorate, Varanasi. Several top leaders of the country were present for Modi's nomination. Before this, Modi held a huge roadshow in the city across the ghats and temples. He promised for the development of the city. Though Congress wanted to field Priyanka Gandhi, she was soon replaced with Ajay Rai.
