Narendra Modi to Inaugurate MMTS Phase-II Soon:- The anticipated commencement of the MMTS services between Sanathnagar and Ghatkesar, Phase-II of the project, will likely be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the near future. An official from the South Central Railway expressed uncertainty about whether the Prime Minister will physically visit the city or conduct the inauguration online. The service will consist of two electric engine-powered trains with nine bogies each.

The Chief Passenger Transportation Manager (CPTM) has proposed the addition of two more trains. In order to enhance the overall experience, the SCR officials have decided to adorn the trains with unique exterior designs and make necessary improvements to the interiors. Furthermore, the SCR plans to incorporate GPS coordinates into the passenger announcement and information system for all new stations along the Sanathnagar-Ghatkesar route, ensuring that commuters have access to real-time train updates.
