KCR Wants 50% Of The Central Taxes:- Telangana Chief Minister KCR requested the 15th Finance Commission on Tuesday requesting them to increase the tax devolution to 50% of the divisible pool from the Central taxes. This can be done by reducing the expenditure on the state budgets revealed KCR. KCR interacted with NK Singh, Commission Chairman and other members in the Jubilee Hall during which he shared the broad national concern. He called it a perfect balance between the equity and efficiency.

"We cannot improve backward states by pulling down the well performed states. We request the Commission to increase the tax devolution to 50% of the divisible pool of the central taxes" said KCR. The Chief Minister was keen on bringing out an attractive and practical tax scheme to bail out the black money in the country. He had a discussion with NK Singh and other members for two hours after the state's cabinet got expanded yesterday. Telangana Chief Minister KCR kept hold of all the key portfolios of ministries with him and he locked ten ministers. The second phase of cabinet expansion will take place post Lok Sabha elections.
