IKEA Receives 40,000 Footfalls On Day One:- It took 12 years for Swedish furniture giant IKEA to setup a store in the country. The first one has been launched in Hyderabad yesterday and the day one traffic has been outstanding. The furniture store received 40,000 plus visitors on its first day revealed the store manager John Achillea. Social media has been floated with the pictures of the massive traffic jam across the Hitech City region because of IKEA. Lot of visitors from several parts of the city thronged the store after a massive publicity campaign about the affordable products.

The outlet has been set across 4 lakh sqft which is named as the largest single brand outlet in India. The store witnessed massive crowds by 10 AM and the floating continued till 11 PM. Most of them expressed that it would be quite difficult to catch one if they go missing in the largest outlet and several senior citizens found it tough to cover the entire outlet. IKEA witnessed many happy faces on its day one after the inauguration. The Cyberabad Cops issued a traffic advisory because of the mad rush and this is expected to continue till this weekend.
