Jayalalithaa's Portrait In TN Assembly Creates A Stir:- Tamil Nadu's former Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa's portrait has been unveiled by the Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami and speaker P Dhanapal in Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly today. The seven foot portrait now created a stir across the political circles of the state as the opposition parties opposed the portrait. AIADMK MLAs have been present during the event. The major opposition parties DMK along with Congress boycotted the ceremony. Congress party whip Vijayadharni was present for the ceremony.

DMK's Working President Stalin revealed that it was a black move and his party condemns the act. He reminded that DMK MLA J Anbazhagan filed a petition against the portrait and the case is under hearing. Stalin revealed that AIADMK was in a hurry and conducted the event even before 9.30 AM. Congress who boycotted the event reminded that Jayalalithaa was the prime accused in the disproportionate assets case. With all the opposition parties boycotting the event, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Palaniswami said that she was a committed leader and served the state six times as Chief Minister.
