Dinakaran Sacks TN Revenue Minister RB Udhayakumar From Party Post:- Tamil Nadu Revenue Minister RB Udhayakumar has been sacked from the party post by the ousted Deputy General Secretary of AIADMK, TTV Dinakaran, who in turn appointed new district secretaries for Thanjavur and Madurai.

Meanwhile, a protest was carried out by the AIADMK supporters near Windflower resort in Puducherry where MLAs supporting TTV Dinakaran are lodged. In Puducherry, the protesters were seen burning the posters of Dinakaran.

As many as 19 MLAs withdrew support to the AIADMK on Tuesday, seven of whom were at Puducherry’s resort. This move of the AIADMK MLAs happened  just a day after two factions of the party united for the merger.

In December, following the death of former AIADMK supremo J Jayalalithaa, the party had split. The two warring factions of the AIADMK came back together. The factions are led by former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister O Panneerselvam (OPS) and other by Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami (EPS).
