Tamil Nadu Government Offers Rs 10 Cr Immediate Assistance for Hyderabad Floods:- Hyderabad is flooded due to the heavy rains. Several low-lying regions are still submerged and are waiting to see the light. When the relief activities are going on, the weather reports suggested heavy rain for the Telangana capital for the next four days. Telangana Chief Minister KCR an immediate aid of Rs 550 crores for the state. The state's IT Minister KTR is personally monitoring all the rescue operations and several teams of GHMC are deployed to carry the relief activities further. KCR even urged Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to release an immediate relief fund of Rs 1350 crores for the state.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister EK Palaniswami announced a relief contribution of Rs 10 crores to the government of Telangana considering the Hyderabad floods. The funds are sent through the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister's Public Relief Fund as per the statement made by the Director of Information and Public Relations. Palaniswami expressed his condolences for the families of the deceased. The government of Tamil Nadu said that they would be sending relief material along with blankets to help the affected families. "I also assure you that the Government of Tamil Nadu stands ready to render any other assistance as may be required by the Government of Telangana," told Palaniswami in his letter to Telangana Chief Minister KCR.
KCR thanked the government of Tamil Nadu for turning a helping hand at this tough times. The Telangana government said that over 37,000 people have been rescued from the flood-hit regions of the state while 33 people passed away in the state due to the rains. The government of Tamil Nadu also appreciated the Telangana government for efficiently handling the situations in the state.
