KCR Plans a Welfare Budget in Telangana: Telangana Chief KCR has special plans for the newly formed state. Ahead of 2019 elections, TRS Government along with their Chief KCR has been keen on 2018-19 budget which is going to play a crucial role in the next elections. The inside news is that KCR already gave his nod for Rs 1.8 lakh crores which will be allotted for the implementation of welfare schemes in Telangana. With several speculations that the elections will head early next year, TRS Government is in plans to please everyone with the budget.

A huge budget is said to have been allocated to the backward castes in Telangana (BCs, SC and STs). KCR has been busy interacting with the top officials in implementing them in the right way so that the result would be felt. Several top officials have been coming out with new ideas to help the poor and the backward castes. A senior official said that the allocation of budget for the welfare schemes is expected to be 30% higher than the last year's allocation. A hike on the financial benefits is majorly considered.
