President Kovind To Visit Tirupati-Tirumala

President Kovind To Visit Tirupati-Tirumala:- President Shri. Ram Nath Kovind will make a holy visit to the Tirupati-Tirumala shrine, the abode of Lord Venkateshwara on September 1 and 2.

The Andhra Pradesh government will host a civic reception for him, during his visit. On September 1, the President will arrive in Tirupati at 3 p.m. and proceed to Tiruchanoor to worship Goddess Padmavati. The President will be received and accompanied by Governor ESL Narasimhan and Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.

A senior official of the General Administration Department in Amaravati said, Kovind will then proceed to the Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences and inaugurate a hospital building. At the civic reception at the Sri Venkateswara Arts College, the President will be felicitated by the State government. The foundation stone for the BR Ambedkar Skill Training Academy will be laid by him and the beneficiaries of ‘Stand-Up India’ programme, will receive the sanction letters by Kovind.

A State dinner at 7.15 pm at the Silparamam will be attended by the President and from there he will proceed to the Tirumala Hills. Kovind, after an overnight stay, will worship Lord Venkateswara in Tirumala on the morning of September 2.

The official added that by a special aircraft from Tirupati International Airport at Renigunta at 9:20 am, Kovind will depart for New Delhi.
