The herbal medicine got a thumbs up from the people and lakhs of people flocked to Krishnapatnam village in Nellore district for the medicine. There are also several controversies that surrounded Anandaiah's medicine and the Andhra Pradesh government wanted to take a call after conducting a thorough investigation. The Andhra Pradesh government today approved Anandaiah's medicine but the decision on the eye drops will be taken in a month's time.

The issue also came up for hearing in the High Court of Andhra Pradesh but the government of Andhra Pradesh announced the decision to allow Anandaiah's medicine in the state. Andhra Pradesh government announced that it would be responsible for the impact of Anandaiah's medicine. The government of Andhra Pradesh wanted the relatives or family members of the patient to come and collect the medicine for coronavirus from Krishnapatnam. AP government allowed to distribute P,L and F category medicines by Anandaiah. The decision was taken after the report submitted by the Central Council of Research in Ayurvedic Sciences.
