Murder Attempt On Shilpa Chakrapani Reddy In Nandyal:- YSRCP candidate Silpa Mohan Reddy’s brother - Silpa Chakrapani Reddy was attacked by TDP goons led by Abhiruchi Madhu, near Suraj Hotel in Nandyal. The incident occurs barely 24 hours after the polling in Nandyal.

When Madhu fired five rounds into the air, panic and fear prevailed among the residents in the area due to the murder attempt. Later, hurling abuses at Silpa Chakrapani Reddy, Madhu was seen wielding a dagger. The police remained as silent spectators and did not make any attempt to stop the two groups from clashing against each other.

When he was returning from funeral of YSRCP minority leader ‘Chimping’ Basha, along with his supporters, the TDP goons stopped the vehicle of Silpa Chakrapani at the hotel.

In the past, on several occasions, the state government’s decision to provide a gunman to Madhu was questioned by political parties. Abhiruchi Madhu was a former rowdy sheeter and had several criminal cases registered against him.

Meanwhile, addressing media people, Silpa Chakrapani Reddy said that it was an intentional attempt from the TDP to get rid of him.
