BB Agrawal Assumes Charge As Chief Commissioner Of GST And Customs:- Bankey Behari Agrawal has been appointed in charge as the Chief Commissioner, GST and Customs of Hyderabad zone, which covers the entire State of Telangana, on Thursday.
An official press release said, he is also the in-charge of the Visakhapatnam zone which covers the state of Andhra Pradesh.
Agrawal is from the 1985 batch of Indian Revenue Service and has worked at several places. He was actively involved in drafting of GST laws pertaining to Appeals and Revision and was also instrumental in designing of the 4-tier GST training plan which led to training of almost 60,000 offers during 2016.
