A special court yesterday has shocked the Ex Prime Minister Manmohan Singh accusing him in the coal scam. He has been summoned yesterday and has been asked to appear before the court on April 8th. This has left the whole country in shock as the Ex PM has been accused in a coal allocation scam. In support of this the Congress party leaders have stepped out and expressed their support for Manmohan. Congress Chief Sonia Gandhi along with the Congress senior leaders started as a rally from the AICC head quarters at 24, Akbar Road New Delhi to the residence of Manmohan Singh. 

Speaking on this Sonia revealed “We are here to support the man of integrity. He has served the country as a Prime Minister for 10 years and he is known to the whole world. The whole country along with the Congress party is behind us and we will fight the matter legally and he will sure be vindicated”. Manmohan revealed that truth will win in this matter and he will respect the law. A special court in Delhi summoned the former prime minister yesterday along with former coal secretary PC Parakh, Industrialist Kumar Manglam Birla and three others in the coal blocks allocation case in Odisha during the Congress rule.
