Sonia and Rahul Gandhi Skips the Congress Foundation Day Event:- Congress President Sonia Gandhi along with her son and former Chief of Congress, Rahul Gandhi have been found missing in the 136th Foundation Day Event that took place today in the AICC headquarters today in New Delhi. Senior Congress leader AK Antony flagged the Congress flag at the event. AICC General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra was present for the event along with senior Congress leaders of the country. Ghulam Nabi Azad, Anand Sharma have been present. Sonia Gandhi has been unwell recently and because of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, Sonia Gandhi has been avoiding public meetings.

Rahul Gandhi is currently out of the country and is abroad on a short personal trip. Speaking on the occasion, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra slammed the government for ignoring the farmers. She said that the Centre should listen to the voice of th farmers instead of calling the agitation a political conspiracy. Thousands of farmers are protesting at the New Delhi border from the past one month against the introduced three farm laws. Priyanka said that the government should be responsible and answer the farmers and take back the farm laws. Priyanka Gandhi did not answer when asked about Rahul Gandhi's absence. The national media reports that Rahul is on a trip to Milan and he flew abroad yesterday afternoon.
