Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao led TRS government is planning to develop five smart cities in the state irrespective of the central governments 100 smart cities in the country. Apart from Hyderabad the other places that fall in smart city category are Karimnagar, Warangal, Nizamabad and Khammam. At the same time, KCR wants to ensure, Hyderabad has proper drainage system and for this it would cost the government around Rs 10,000 crores.
A 4000 MW power plant will be established in Kothagudem which will provide direct employement to 10,000 people and indirectly the number could increase. So the basic infrastructure is a must to develop the above place into smart cities and CM KCR will personally look after them. Post the Assembly sessions, KCR will be visiting all the mentioned places and note down the requirements of every place.
A super specialty hospital has been given nod to be established on the Nalgonda and Vijayawada highway. Whenever accidents occur, all the victims are being brought to Hyderabad to give the best medication but the journey itself is too long. So to avoid all these consequences, government gave nod for a hospital near to the highway. He also directed deputy CM and Health minister Rajaiah to prepare proposal for it.
