Delhi Rape Convict Makes Sensational Comments Before Hanging:- The Nirbhaya rape convicts are set for hanging on March 20th at 5.30 AM. With all their mercy petitions rejected, the convicts are left with no other options. One of the convicts Mukesh Kumar Singh filed a petition in the Delhi Court seeking a stay on the death penalty after making some sensational comments. He claims that he was not in the city on the day the crime took place. The Delhi Court reserved its order and will pronounce their verdict very soon. This turned out to be a new twist in the case.
Mukesh Kumar claimed that he was arrested in Rajasthan and was brought to Delhi on December 17th, 2012, a day after the crime. He said that he was brutally tortured in the jail. The public prosecutor argued that this is a trick to delay the execution of punishment. Four men convicted in the Nirbhaya case ar sentenced to death. The death penalty was delayed several times. The other three convicts Pawan Kumar Gupta, Vinay Sharma and Akshay Kumar moved to the International Court of Justice to prevent the execution. Lawyer AP Singh is taking the discussion.
