Bihar's Sensible Move To Stop Bribery:- Nitesh Kumar, the CM of Bihar in the cabinet meeting, took a sensible move of putting an end to bribery by proposing to pay prize money of Rs1000 - 50,000 to people who are vocal about the corruption. This remarkable move might possibly help with curtailing corruption.

According to Nitesh Kumar, personal information about the informer will be kept a secret for security reasons. Since there is excessive corruption, the State Government believes that citizens who report about bribery can be of great help.

Further, for providing details about the corrupt, if the informer might have to make a visit to the court. The State Government will bear the following expenses - the prize amount, Rs 200 for food expenses and travel charges to reach the court.

In the cabinet meeting, apart from the corruption proposal, several other proposals such as posts creation for Patna Metro, financing for 147 new schools, the appointment of engineers in the Rural Works Department, suspension of om Prakash Manjhi and decision to hike the travel allowance for the personal assistant of the Minister were discussed.
