Bihar Poll Results: BJP ahead than RJD:- The exit polls predicted an easy and comfortable victory for RJD but there seems to be a neck to neck fight in the Bihar Assembly polls. The counting started at 8 AM this morning and BJP is slightly ahead in the results. 2.7 crore votes out of the 4.11 crore votes are counted till evening told the Election Commission. The final results and the numbers of the Bihar Assembly elections would be out by midnight. There are 63 percent increase in the number of EVMs told the Election Commission and the counting has been glitch-free till evening.
As of evening, BJP is leading in 73 constituencies and RJD is slightly behind with 72 seats. JD(U) is leading in 45 constituencies and Congress has 20 seats. Others are racing ahead in 33 constituencies. BJP is quite confident that they would form the government once again soon without the support of any other parties. The counting is taking place in 243 constituencies. Indian Union Home Minister Amit Shah spoke to Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar after BJP had a slim lead in the state.
