Narendra Modi Declares Rs 500 Cr For Kerala:- Kerala has been left shattered with the heavy rains and the country's Prime Minister Narendra Modi flew to kerala to have an areal view in the most affected areas. A meeting has been held with Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan last night and Pinarayi Vijayan requested a financial help of Rs 2000 crores from the centre. Leaving everyone in shock, Narendra Modi declared Rs 500 crores to the Kerala and will be released immediately to continue the relief activities. A high level meeting has been chaired with the Kerala officials today after which Narendra Modi declared the fund.

As per the primary estimates, Kerala suffered loss of Rs 19,512 crores and the complete loss can only be estimated after the flood waters recede. Earlier, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh visited Kerala and announced Rs 100 crores relief fund. There has been a huge outrage after the announcement of Modi as Kerala has been badly affected. The life of the common man has been badly hit and lakhs have been left homeless.
