Chandrababu Naidu To Make 60 Mini Districts In AP

Despite various people were outrageous over the decision of delimitation of Districts in Telangana, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao succeeded in it. According to the reports, majority of the Telanganites were content with the 21 New Districts formed from existing ones.

KCR’s counterpart in Andhra Pradesh Chandrababu Naidu is all set to take the count of districts in his state to 60. Reports said that the CM of AP is trying out the idea of decentralization without carrying out any delimitation of districts. He also want to increase the role of Revenue Division for better administration.

According to the reports, government scheme implementation will be monitored from Revenue Division and most of the decision making would take place from here itself. Which means, like collectors, the role of RDOs would increase and they would monitor the implementation of schemes.

Reports said that Babu is trying to establish 60 Revenue Divisions in Andhra Pradesh. Additionally, the government is also mulling to promote few DSPs and Deputy Collectors as their role is going to be crucial.
