In a shocking incident, ISIS terrorist attack Mahaboobnagar district. According to police, there are reports of Terrorist hiding in a house belonging to Basha in Millennium Township, Shadnagar.
As soon as officials surrounded the house terrorist tried to flee from the spot. In the process to escape, terrorist started shooting on the police. Naeem, a 'most wanted' gangster in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, was one of the terrorist shot. Two terrorist were gunned by police in an encounter.
"The moment they saw police team, the man driving the Endeavour stopped the car, opened fire and ran away. The person who was sitting in the car also opened fire at the police team," who retaliated in "self defence," the SP said.
Official said, “The total number of terrorist in the house is not known but police are suspecting that two terrorist have been killed.”
Heavy security has been deployed in the area and the operation is currently underway. Shootout is still continuing between police and the terrorist.
Meanwhile, Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju said “it is a serious matter that the security forces are engaging with the militants. We should not speak anything or speculate when an incident is going on," he said in the national capital.
The operation was jointly carried out by the National Intelligence Agency and the Telangana Police. Nearby locality has been cleared off and people living in a radius of 2 km have been asked to evacuate.
