On the occasion of Ramdan festival, Civil Supplies Minister Paritala Sunitha has participated in the distribution of Ramzan Tohfa at Ashok Nagar and other areas in Hyderabad along with MLA Prabhakar Chowdary and Mayor Swaroopa on Tuesday.

Speaking on the occasion, Sunitha stated that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu desired that every Muslim family should celebrate Ramzan joyfully. So, he introduced these Ramzan Tohfa kits and asked to distribute them.

For the benefit of those who are out of the station, the distribution of kits has been extended up to July 15th. Every family having white ration card is entitled to receive this gift. The gift pack includes 5 kgs of wheat, 2 kgs of sugar, 1 kg of semya and 100 grams of ghee.

Sunitha asked officials and ration card dealers to ensure hassle-free distribution with no scope for irregularities, otherwise, action would be initiated against those who create disturbance.

MLA Prabhakar Chowdary said that “the Chief Minister believed in equal treatment of all religions and that the Ramzan goodies were part of his love for all religions.” Mayor Swaroopa, Joint Collector B Lakshmikantham and other officials were also present.
