Telangana Chief Minister KCR would be distributing new clothes to 2 lakh poor Muslim families to celebrate Ramzan festival this year. The distribution would begin on June 17 and end on June 22 in Hyderabad and all other parts of the state.

A grand Ramzan feast will be organised in several places in the state. All the leaders and ministers have been asked to identify the beneficiaries and distribute clothes to everyone without any delay.

KCR will also participate in the Ifar feast at the Nizam College grounds on June 26. Last year too, KCR asked a committee headed by the local Imams to identify the beneficiaries of their respective areas.

KCR also honored nearly 5,000 Imams across Telangana with Rs. 1000 monthly honorarium, apart from giving a pair of clothes worth Rs 500 to poor families and allotted nearly 26 crores to celebrate Iftar at all the mosques in the state.
