Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation has decided to paint the name of the auto driver, his mobile number and circle name on the Swachh auto which collects dry and wet garbage separately, from every household in the city.

GHMC commissioner B Janardhan Reddy decided that the details of auto tipper and driver would be furnished on walls near the garbage dumping bins. It will help public and officials to know about their timings in all the 24 circles in Hyderabad.

The Commissioner said that “the Corporation would repair and repaint all the existing garbage dumping bins and provide them with a special number that would be displayed on the bins. He said that he asked the Corporation officials to geo-tag each and every dumping bin.”

He also said that “GHMC would use the services of sanitation workers in three shifts for 24- hour service. The Commissioner said that the Corporation would conduct extensive campaigns to raise awareness about the plastic ban in the city.”
